Getting to Know Ourselves and Each Other:
Pre-K and Kindergarten at Pinheiros Mansos
Our youngest students will spend the week of TASIS Explores establishing relationships with their classmates and their teachers in a natural setting, the lovely Pinheiros Mansos. ELC teachers have a week of activities planned to develop positive relationships and well being to foster resilient, confident, independent and creative learners.
Students will learn about each other, practice school routines, and explore literature, art, drama, music, mindfulness and yoga. Specialist teachers will join during the week to enrich our outdoor program.
There will be extra excursions for different age groups, plus Forest School, horseback riding, the Sintra Science Museum, and tree climbing at Parque Palmela (Kindergarten).
You are strongly encouraged to drop off and pick up at Pinheiros Mansos. There, you can walk your child to their teacher and can take a first day of school photo! If this is not possible, you may drop off and pick up at TASIS Portugal and transportation will be provided.
Either way, be sure to complete the form on the Parent Portal regarding drop-off, pick up, and extended care during this special week. Extended care is available until 17:00 (5:00PM) for those who need it.
