This month the TASIS Portugal Art Gallery is opening its doors to a new kind of visitor: not a parent, not a prospective family, but a working artist who will spend a week living inside the life of the school. John Smalley, an American painter, printmaker, and longtime teacher, arrives in Sintra on 21 September to launch our new Visiting Artist Programme, an initiative that will bring professional artists onto campus each year to show their work, meet our community, and teach directly alongside our own art faculty.
