Staff Spotlight: Welcome Zoe Zarrabi!

Zoe is a Singapore Math coordinator and teacher.

From a young age, Zoe felt she was destined to teach, and took it upon herself to tutor her nieces and nephews with care and patience, thoroughly enjoying the process. She sees teaching as a vocation; a seamless transition between the school where she teaches and home with her family.

She holds a B.Ed. from Auckland University of Technology (NZ), a B.A. from the London Metropolitan University, and a postgraduate certificate in education from the University of Derby (both UK). Zoe began teaching in New Zealand and the UK, and most recently she has been teaching in Malaysia, in roles encompassing the primary and preschool years. She has delivered, and also coached other teachers to deliver, the Early Years Foundation Stage, Te Whaariki (NZ curriculum), International Cambridge Curriculum, International Primary Curriculum, and the Singapore Math Curriculum. Additionally, she has been a Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning mentor, Key Stage Coordinator, Head of the Year, and Singapore Math coach (KS1 & KS2). Zoe is a certified Apple teacher, a Seesaw Ambassador, and is skilled with wide range of apps and information technology.

She believes learning takes place in all of us all the time, and models continuous learning for her students, so they see that it continues into adulthood. Zoe believes working in partnership with families, with students receiving assistance and guidance at home and at school to enhance their success. She is an avid equestrienne.
