Heather studied as a K-6 Elementary Education Generalist at Taylor University (Upland, IN) and holds a B.A. in art history from the University of St. Thomas ( St. Paul, MN). She joins us as an elementary school teacher.
A truly global citizen, Heather has lived in four countries with her family! Most recently, she worked as a substitute teacher at the American International School of Guangzhou, China, allowing her to be home with her youngest daughter while fulfilling her desires to maintain a presence in the classroom and inspire a love of reading and writing in her students.
Prior to teaching, Heather worked with nonprofit organizations in the United States, often coordinating volunteer groups of all ages. She is excited to join the TASIS family, along with her husband, Bill (English and social studies teacher, grades 4-6), and their daughters. We are also excited to welcome her to our team!
Bem-vindo à nossa equipe!
