Erica is our new director of learning and assessment. She is an accomplished and dynamic educational leader with a proven history of building school culture to contribute to student success and school development. Erica comes to us from Stevenson School in Carmel, California, where she was director of curriculum and instruction for the last 10 years.
Prior to that, she worked at the Stern Center for Language and Learning, Ann Martin Children's Center, Developmental Learning Solutions, and in her own private practice. Erica holds a Master of Arts in psychology, MFCC concentration from Chapman University, a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and postgraduate coursework in speech and language development from the University of Vermont.
A licensed school psychologist and board-certified educational therapist, Erica has significant training in reading and math instruction, including specialized training in early literacy, Orton Gillingham, Singapore Math, assessment, differentiation, Visible Thinking, and Core Knowledge. She has published several articles and provides international training on neurodiversity, early intervention, curricula, differentiated instruction, and teacher training.
